1.WPO Celebrates 10 Glorious Years of its existence. On this occasion Exhibition Polo Match was organized at Jaipur Polo Ground on 3rd Jan, 09. On this occasion vintage car rally and trick riding, tent pegging was also organized. The event was followed by high tea in which number of dignitaries took part. Dr. M.S.Gill Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs was the chief guest of the function.
2.WPO Celebrates gala Baisakhi function at Nitesh Kunj farm on 11th April, 09 at Delhi Gurgaon Highway. Gen. J.J. Singh Governor of Arunachal Pradesh was the Chief Guest of the function. Also present on the momentous occasion were Dr. Ruby Dhalla, MP, Canada, Dr. M.S. Gill, Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sr. Tarlochan Singh, MP, Sr. Bishen Singh Bedi, The test cricketer and Rajiee M. Shinde and Rabinder Narayan of PTC.
3.WPO felicitates Punjabi Parliamentarians of India on 6th of July 2009 at Hotel Le-Meridien. On this occasion no. of Punjabi parliamentarians to include Dr. M.S. Gill-Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Smt. Priya Dutt, Smt. Harsimrat Badal, Dr. Rattan Singh Ajnala, Sh. Ravneet Singh, Sh. Pawan Kumar Bansal, Sh. Tarlochan Singh, Sh. Naresh Gujral. Also present on this occasion were Sh. Kuldip Nayar, Sh. H.S. Hanspal, Sh. K.S. Bains, Sh. H.S. Balli, On this occasion an Audio Visual presentation on the activities carried out by WPO since its inception was made. The presentation was highly appreciated by the gathering.
