Relief Material sent to the victims and survivors of Uttrakhand flood tragedy.
World Punjabi Organisation (WPO) in keeping with its tradition of meeting the needs of its social responsibilities towards the nation has taken the initiative to send relief material for the use of those stranded in the higher reaches of Uttarakhand. The material consisting of 6 trucks load included items like blankets, Rice, Dal, footwear, cooking oil, drinking water, biscuits and other articles of utility was flagged of by Padma Shri Vikramjit Singh Sahney, International President WPO in the presence of its patrons and members.
Vikramjit Singh Sahney emphasized that WPO commits itself to meet its social obligations in future too.
