World Punjabi Organisation organized a Free Health Camp in association with Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Diabetes, Cardiac and Eye Diseases. There was a great response to the program and innumerous residents of North-West Delhi were benefitted by the it.
GURU NANAK DEV JI’S PRAKASH UTSAV AT P.M. HOUSE : 8th November 2003
Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Prakash Utsav was celebrated at PM House to mark the universal Brotherhood. Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Prime Minister of India lauded the activities of WPO and gave a message of World Pease, Harmony and Universal Brotherhood. Sr. V.S.Sahney, President WPO proposed a vote of thanks. Several Ministers, Members of Parliament and other dignitaries were among the august gathering.
FRENCH AMBASSADOR’S RESIDENCE: 5th December 2003
The Ambassador of France H.E. Mr. Dominique Girard hosted a reception in collaboration with MRST And WPO to confer f’Chevalier de L’Ordre du Merite on Dr. Jean-Marie Lafont, an Eminent French Historian . Sr. V.S.Sahney and Sr. Tarlochan Singh, Chairman, National Commission for Minorities presented Roll of Honour to the French Ambassador and Dr. J.M.Lafont. Baba Deep Singh Akhara of Chandigarh enthralled the dignitaries with a splendid display of Sikh Martial Art.
