WORLD PUNJABI ORGANISATION IN ASSOCIATION WITH EMBASSY OF INDIA ABU DHABI CELEBRATES COMMEMORATION OF 550TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF GURU NANAK DEV JI

“Embassy of India Abu Dhabi in association with World Punjabi Organization of India celebratES Commemoration of 550th Birthday anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on 22nd August and 23rd August at India Social and Cultural Centre Abu Dhabi. Chief Guest, H. E. Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahyan Fesral, Minister of Ministry of Tolerance UAE, will inaugurate the Exhibition on the ‘Life and Teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji on 22nd August 2019 at 5.30 pm to kick start the celebrations. This is inline with Ministry of External Affairs of India’s ongoing program initiated by late Smt. Sushma Swaraj cabinet Minister of India of previous Government of India led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.” Announced H.E. Navdip Suri Ambassador of India to UAE.

 

Mr. Vikramjit Sahney, International President of World Punjabi Organisation – India said that the Inauguration of Exhibition on the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev ji will include Paintings Display, speech by renowned author Shri Tarlochan Singh, ex-Member of Parliament of India and short Documentary film brought by World Punjabi Organisation. The Function will start at 5.0pm onward on 22nd August 2019.

 

“On 23rd August 2019 the Recitations of Gurbani from Guru Granth Sahib by renowned singer Padam shri Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa and his team will be followed by speeches on the Life and Teaching of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji by Sikh Scholar Giani Ranjit Singh and Shri Tarlochan Singh. The Sikh Sangat of Abu Dhabi has very enthusiastically done all arrangements for The ‘Kirtan Diwan’ of recitation of Gurbani and Langar (Community Kitchen Food)” said Shri Surjit Singh Convener World Punjabi Organisation,  UAE.

“Completion of last leg of One month long ‘550 Donors Blood Donation Camp’ arranged with the support Sheikh Khalifa Hospital Abu Shabi and entire ‘Sikh Sangat of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain’ ” said Shri Sandeep Kaushak or Ambassador Navdip Suri.

The Exhibition program and Kirtan Darbar programs are open to all communities living in UAE.
